Italian Marxist-Leninists express their warm sympathy to the families of the innocent victims of Paris terrorist attacks.

These attacks, that we cannot agree with but can understand, are the direct consequence of the criminal war waged on the Islamic State by the imperialist holy alliance, of which Hollande’s France is a member. We can expect these attacks to continue and strike all the countries of this coalition. In order to avoid them, the only way is stopping the war against the Islamic State.

People have no reason to support his war, useful only to the interests of imperialists, i.e. capitalism and bourgeois ruling classes, that, in order to sustain their economies and “vital spaces”, use arms to force peoples who rebel against their rule into submission and to plunder their countries’ resources, mainly oil and raw materials.

Currently US, European and Russian imperialists are preying on Middle East, particularly Syria, Iraq and Libya. Although they are opposed to each other and struggling for hegemony on that region, they are now united to fight the Islamic State, which is the main obstacle to their domination plans in the Middle East.

People who love peace, peoples’ freedom and self-determination and countries’ independence and sovereignty, cannot stand with imperialist aggressors, but with the invaded Islamic State. The PMLI, while not sharing its ideology, culture, tactics, strategy and all its struggling methods, actions and goals, cannot but support it in its struggle against imperialists. Because it is our common interest to free the world from imperialism, which is the cause of wars, exploitation of man by man, existence of classes, social injustices, hunger, unemployment, territorial and gender inequality, Fascism, racism, homophobia, migration. Barbarity by imperialism produces barbarity.

There are no such things as good imperialism—Russian or Chinese—and bad imperialism—US or European. All imperialism is bad and enemy to mankind. Imperialists struggle among themselves over world dominance, even at the cost of a world war. They must be stopped.

The greatest contribution the Italian people can give to this universal anti-imperialist struggle is standing against any interventionist and warmonger act by new Duce Renzi’s imperialist government. It has a military presence in Iraq and Afghanistan, and it is ready to use Tornando fighters and drones to bomb the Islamic State in the territory it has taken away from Iraq. It is only waiting to have in return the prize it is longing for—the leadership of the military mission in Libya.

The Italian people must refuse to become cannon fodder for Italian imperialism, and in case Italy should take part at a possible imperialist world war, they must rise also in arms if necessary to prevent it.

This government is a calamity for its domestic and foreign policy. It must be overthrown.
